Front Surface Fluorescence Probe

Our Front Surface Fluorescence Probes, as their name suggests, are designed to measure the surface fluorescence of a liquid, solid, paste, or slurry. The probes’ internal optics focus the light from a source on the wetted side of the window, thus eliminating the need to penetrate the sample for a reading. This concentrated focus and shallow penetration depth significantly reduces the inner filter effect when compared to other competitive optical devices.

The Front Surface Fluorescence Probe comes in two form factors: one with detachable fiber optic cables and one with integrated fiber optic cables. The version with detachable fibers is steam sterilization/autoclave-safe and comes with a sealed proximal cap to protect the SMA-905 fiber connections.
